If you are going to hop out of your current Samsung phone into some Galaxy S20, do not expect your keyboard information to come along for the ride. Samsung has stopped syncing keyboard information through its Cloud service as of April 13th, according to a note seen by SamMobile. Your word predictions saved words, and language information (among other items ) won't carry over when you switch devices. It's an unusual move when the provider syncs practically everything else, such as the notes and browser.

The note reaching clients was dated March 15th, but it seems to have just reached customers lately.

This will not be a massive problem if you're eager to change to alternatives like Gboard or even SwiftKey, some of which have unique features on top of syncing. Nonetheless, it's something of a hassle if you've amassed years of words on Samsung apparatus -- you may be made to start from scratch.
